BREAKING: Iran issued a statement claiming its drones struck Bahrain, home of the American Fifth Fleet
The Army claims a large number of attack drones targeted radar sites and US personnel at Sheikh Isa base, describing it as one of the most sensitive American installations in the Persian Gulf and promising severe revenge on the aggressors.
No confirmation has come from the US or Bahraini authorities.
Statement:
“In the 29th phase of the “Thunder” operation, and in response to the enemy’s aggression against southern regions of the country, the Iranian Army, a few hours ago, targeted radar facilities and centers where U.S. terrorist forces were gathered at the Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain with a large number of attack drones.
The Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain is one of the most important and sensitive U.S. bases in the Persian Gulf region, and it is a major center for the maintenance and repair of helicopters and drone parts, and also hosts reconnaissance aircraft.
The Public Relations of the Army emphasized that the soldiers of the Iranian Army have given a resounding and comprehensive response to the enemy’s acts of aggression, and will take severe and regrettable revenge on the aggressors.”
