Yasmine Mohammed: A woman who had the courage to break away from the Muslim tradition that enslaved her. She now encourages others to explain what women and young girls must experience from a culture/religion that is probably 6 or 7 generations behind Christianity in the West. This takes us back the generations and helps us understand why immigrants are enduring such escapes through traffickers to countries in the West, including Ireland.

Family History: three of my grandparents are from Co. Clare and Galway. The male line of the Blake-Forsters no long exists. My grandmother was Marcella Blake-Forster; she married Michael Comyn KC. My grandmother Eileen O’Donohue was from Ennistymon and a niece of Andrew O’Donohue, Lickeen. An heirloom was a printed history of the Blake-Forster family (in very small print) but hanging as a picture on the wall. Sinn Fein is wounded. But have they a wider vision about immigration? I hope Niall Boylan (Independent) will be representing Ireland in EU. I recommend people who march for Islam to watch interviews with Yasmine Mohammed. Having lived in London at the time of the IRA bombs; working in the City, I must admit I had no understanding of the politics of Northern Ireland. No amount of reading or watching films or listening to people who lived through the Troubles can make you understand. You need to engage with women like Yasmine Mohammed and Ayaan Hersi Ali; and not forgetting Salmon Rushdie, and this is possible now thanks to the internet and now powerful podcasts, youtube and so much more. The Hard Question we need to address urgently as the world at war is growling. “How the West Empowers Radical Muslims”. Ignorance can be no excuse for negligence and false narratives manifested in protests under banners we fail to understand the significance of; because they are Islamic driven. Islamaphobia, the terminology is the child of propaganda Iran.
