He told a group of scientists in Novosibirsk that whether educators can realistically prevent that outcome is a big question, claiming that as AI becomes capable of instantly producing answers, the number of people who actually think, develop ideas and build the technology could become smaller and smaller, while for the majority there would be little need to think at all.
