US Senator Bernie Sanders has launched a blistering attack on Donald Trump, calling the president “mentally unstable,” “increasingly out of control,” a “pathological liar,” an authoritarian and a kleptocrat. Sanders also condemned Washington’s foreign policy, comparing the Iran war launched by Trump and Netanyahu with the wars in Vietnam and Iraq—and declaring that all three were “based on a lie.”
