Too many people are acting as privateers; in another century these would be greedy landlords, and are making money off the backs of others, who are not paying for their keep, but our Government is doing the paying and the elite cabal of privateers elevate themselves to positions of power and influence. A homeless man talked about these privateers in Gardiner Street, their bunk beds with many in each room, the loss of Peter McVerry and Salvation Army and their sense of humanity. The privateers have security guards only.
