Letters written to friends about life in Zimbabwe; Family history including Michael Comyn KC, my grandfather, my grandmother's family, the O'Donnellan ffrench Blake-Forsters; Moral wrong: An acrimonious divorce but the real injustice was the Catholic Church granting an annulment – you can read it and make your own judgment, I have mine. I’d ask, has America been a “Democracy”, I suppose it depends on how one defines the term?
Regarding a Monarchy, I live in Australia and we are a Monarchy, in the early ’70’s a properly elected people’s government was dismissed by the crown and an interim government of the crowns choosing took control.
The only benefit I see of being a monarchy, is the fact that it saves the cost and time of having elections.
I define Democracy as being ‘government of the people, by the people and for the people’, sadly, I know of nowhere that this is practiced.
