Professor Eleanor Maguire only aged 54 passed away in January 2025. When I had cancer in 2018, I came across her work and that of D. Hassabis and how it related to my case history. I wrote to her and explained and she sent me links to her work, which I keep near me. I outlined her findings in the book I wrote about having breast cancer.
