Inspired by gravitational torque, it finds hidden patterns on its own, outperforming existing methods. This algorithm, called Torque Clustering, beat traditional unsupervised learning with 97.7% accuracy. Researchers say it could transform fields from medicine to finance by detecting trends humans might miss. Supervised AI relies on humans. This AI doesn’t. As researchers push toward true autonomy, the question isn’t if AI will think for itself—it’s when.
