Mental illness, yet another, but this time Australia, has murdered innocent people. His father explains, he wanted a relationship with a woman, he excelled at school, he even completed his degree but sadly like many more violence preoccupied his mind, he had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, the availability of a weapon and murder became possible, in a public space. Mental illness is horrific for those who are so afflicted. Too often there is no ordinary life but we do have an obligation as a society to seek out what is positive in the person, this often can be “writing”, or painting. Outsider Art should be encouraged. You can find it on the auctions lists of renowned auction houses.
