Stigma and Mental Illness. I have taken this TEDx from Royal Society of Psychiatrists Ireland webpage. Too often we dismiss the abilities of people with mental illness. Schizophrenia conjures up dread for many a parent or person who is diagnosed. I recommend this talk from an advocate for students and schizophrenia. The documentary is from 2008 but interestingly it discussed the famous “Whitehall Study” and introduces to Sir Michael Marmot. “Knowledge is no load” and for people who suffer stress and want to regain some control, this is a must watch.
