Essential to understand in a country like Ireland with such shortfalls in the Psychiatric profession and to the detriment of the most vulnerable. “The high use of nurse practitioners and physician assistants for anxiety disorders is another interesting example. There simply aren’t enough psychiatrists to treat all the people who need care for mental health conditions. But the good news is that there are highly effective evidence-based treatments that can help a lot of people with depression and anxiety that do not require a physician to deliver.”

Cancer: People pleasing, being too nice. Physician who has been diagnosed in adulthood with ADHD, who has worked with people in addiction. I cannot recommend Dr Gabor Mate enough. We all know people who have died from cancer, too young.
