Chronic Fatigue/ME; Post Pandemic Stress Disorder; Burnout – there are many casualties but if you feel or know someone who falls within the above categories, this is a most informative article. Quote: “Perfectionism has a very strong correlation with burnout, explains Curran, whose primary area of expertise is exactly that — how perfectionism develops, and how it impacts on mental health. “For millennial perfectionists, their internal dialogue becomes having to prove to the world that they’re not broken, weak or necessitate other people’s validation to feel good about themselves, which can be debilitatingly exhausting,” he explains. Just think of Smartphone that equates to the beating of the heart ie never switched off.

Hamish McAlpine, a neighbour who became a friend, while he lived in Ireland for a few years recommended this film: The Joker. So many shootings in America and mentally ill is thrown out into the media publicity, yet they say stigma no longer or people are more accepting. The Truth: The Stigma Stands. People hurtle verbal abuse at you but they put the blame on you for being sensitive because they say they are only slagging; worse is the “Coventry” imposed, nobody answers your questions until there comes a time and you stop asking. Add to this the publicity of criminals with mental health history; how can we have belief in ourselves. I recommend “Cinema Therapy”, a film director and a counsellor appraise the character of the Joker and then appraise mental health and element of personal responsibility that exists.
